Reports & Evaluations

Between September 2008 and March 2010, Cornish Community Banking was involved in an innovative project on the Treneere Estate and local surrounding estates in Penzance with the employment of an Outreach Officer.  Working initially with and funded by the Treneere Together Partnership, the original aim was to encourage local residents to improve their financial capability as well as to help them to open up and run a local credit union service point.  However, it soon became apparent that many residents were experiencing high levels of debt that required intervention and at that stage Cornish Community Banking became involved in the Treneere Financial Inclusion Partnership with the CAB and Penwith Housing Association as well.  External evaluations of both projects can be read by clicking on the links below.
