Volunteer Roles

Front Office
Our branches are partly run by volunteers, performing transactions and answering enquiries for members who come in or contact us by phone.

Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is responsible for governing CCB. It meets at least once a month and makes decisions on policy, direction, strategy and management. Directors may have different responsibilities based on their expertise, for example finance, marketing or business planning.
Directors are elected to the Board by the members present at the Annual General Meeting, though the Board can fill vacancies by co-opting until the AGM.

Credit Committee
The Credit Committee is elected by members in the same way as the Board. It oversees local Loans Committees and Officers who assess loan applications in each area where CCB operates.

Supervisory Committee
The Supervisory Committee is also elected by members at the AGM. Its responsibility is to oversee all aspects of the running of CCB, and ensure that it is operating within the law, as well as its own rules and policies.
