New paying-in facility

Simple and convenient savings and payments by debit card.

We understand that it’s not always easy to access our service points if you work or do not live near a service point.  In an effort to improve access, you are now able to save and make loan repayments with our new debit card processing option.
If you have another bank account with a debit card, you can now transfer money to your shares or loan account.

  1. Call us on 0800 0556873 or 01872 321366
  2. Tell us how much you would like to transfer
  3. Give us your card details
  4. The transaction is completed
  5. A receipt of the transaction is sent to you.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Changes to cheque and cash withdrawals

Important changes to cheque and cash withdrawals.

Due to the significant increase in the volume of transactions we conduct , from 1st March 2020 there will be a change to the way we deal with transactions for you.  Cash withdrawals from collection points will be restricted to a maximum of £100 per day.  Members who wish to withdraw more than £100 will  be able to either request a withdrawal by BACS transfer into their bank account or to request a cheque which will be dispatched to them seperately.  Please could you give us 2 days’ notice of withdrawals over £100.  If you request a regular withdrawal(s) on a weekly or monthly basis then we can set this up in advance.

For those who regularly need to withdraw funds, or do not have access to a bank account, our current account offers a card which allows you to withdraw up to £250 per day.  There is a monthly charge of £5 for this service but no other additional transaction charges.  You can also set up standing orders and direct debits using this account.  Application forms are available from our service points at Truro, Penzance and St Austell or can be downloaded from this website.

We apologise for any invonvenience that this may cause however we feel this offers a more secure and efficient environment for both our members and volunteers.
